AEGIS2 Updates
2025 is dead! So let’s dissect it and talk about what last year meant for me, Zephyr Workshop, and everyone’s favorite robot board game. After a pandemic and multiple years of AEGIS2 development, this past year was extremely productive, transformative, mortifying, etc. And so the story is told: AEGIS Exists! Again! Wow! If you haven’t followed the harrowing journey: Update 25: We Almost Get Destroyed By Tariffs.
We’re nearly across the finish line on the AEGIS2 Kickstarter! After years of design, production, printing, and shipping, the games have made it our warehouse at Indipro!
First Kickstarter update of the year!! If you’ve backed/pre-ordered, your orders are locked, but if you want to add anything, just contact us! ZephyrWorkshop @ gmail, or ZephyrWX on Discord. If you haven’t pre-ordered, now’s the time to do so!!! If you’ve moved, please update your address! Look at new pictures and videos of the final product.
And now it’s Fall! After a long email back-and-forth with our printer, money has been sent and now the game is on its way to finally being released!
Another month, another Kickstarter update on AEGIS 2’s printing. We’re rapidly approaching 2 years, but printing’s finally about to start.
We’re back from Gen Con and bring good news: The game is finished! All assets for all SKUs have been handed off to our printer and we’re looking forward to finishing this Kickstarter and getting the game into everyone’s hands.
In this new Kickstarter update, we show off the updated assets for 2018’s AEGIS, including the boards, commander tableaus, and robot cards! Also we brought back AEGIS Streams on Twitch, which you can watch replays of on our YouTube channel. We played several games from AEGIS2’s scenario book!
In the previous Kickstarter updates, we went over charging everyone’s cards and some production update. This one is where we really went into detail on finishing up the biggest remaining piece of the game: The AEGIS2 Scenario Book.
In this new AEGIS Kickstarter Update, we cover: While we were supposed to ship this month, we were still finishing the game but give the demos a spin!
August’s update takes us to finishing up AEGIS2’s robot cards, and we go over that process! You can see how they’re made, and download two teams to try out. Also see the reappearance of AEGIS Wildmoves, our 1v1 quick-play fighting game, and scope out the final five backer-created AEGIS2 characters!
